More guilty pleas entered in connection to Project Forseti drug bust

Two men charged in connection with the Project Forseti drug raids in Saskatchewan last year have pleaded guilty to drug-related charges at Saskatoon Court of Queen’s Bench.

Mark Edward Weber entered pleas to two counts: possession of marijuana exceeding three kilograms for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000.

John Louis Joseph Fekete, an alleged member of the Fallen Saints Motorcycle Club, entered a guilty plea to one count of trafficking marijuana exceeding three kilograms. 

Both men are scheduled to return to court for sentencing arguments in October.

They are among 20 men who were charged as a result of the 15-month long drug and weapon investigation that targeted members of the Fallen Saints and Hells Angels motorcycle clubs and culminated in January 2015 in police raids.

Here is where the other accused are in their court proceedings:

Sentenced

  • Terry Eide: sentenced in December 2015 to eight years on charges of possessing and trafficking cocaine, possessing the proceeds of crime and possessing a loaded, prohibited firearm.
  • Ryan William Hillman: sentenced in April to three and a half years on a charge of conspiracy to traffic marijuana. Still before the court on organized crime charges. 
  • Jordan Robert William Rose: sentenced in June to a three-year conditional discharge on three counts of careless use of a firearm 

Guilty pleas entered

  • Benjamin Miller Stewart-Rogers: pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking. Sentencing scheduled for December. 
  • Christopher Keith Lester: pleaded guilty to conspiracy to traffic marijuana and possessing the proceeds of crime. Sentencing scheduled for October.

Awaiting trial

  • Travis Matthew Miles: charged with trafficking methamphetamine and conspiracy to traffic.
  • Daryl Michael Nagy: charged with trafficking cocaine, possessing the proceeds of crime over $5,000, conspiracy to traffic, committing an offence for the benefit of a criminal organization. 
  • Carl Allan Trobak: charged with organized crime offences, trafficking cocaine, possessing the proceeds of crime over $5,000, conspiracy to traffic.
  • Armand Leigh Hounjet: charged with organized crime offences, aggravated assault and weapons offences. 
  • Layne Joseph Boorman: charged with organized crime offences, aggravated assault. 
  • Justin Murray Smith: charged with organized crime offences, trafficking and conspiracy to traffic cocaine, fentanyl and heroin. 
  • William Dean Sokalofsky: charged with four counts of drug trafficking, conspiracy to traffic marijuana.
  • Robert Allen: charged with trafficking cocaine. Trial dates set for December 2016. 

Still before provincial court

  • Bradley Carl Mann: charged with conspiracy to traffic cocaine, trafficking cocaine and possession of property over $5,000 obtained by crime. 
  • Mark Michael Nowakowski: charged with organized crime offences, aggravated assault.
  • Adam Harada: charged with trafficking meth, fentanyl, cocaine and heroin. 
  • Ruslan Jamal Bakuridze: charged with trafficking meth, fentanyl, cocaine and heroin. 
  • Thai Duong Tran: charged with trafficking meth, fentanyl, cocaine.
